Directions
From Cornwall - take the Dingles Steam Village/Roadford Lake exit off the A30, turn right at the end of the slip road and follow signs for Lifton then take small turning on your left signposted 'Portgate' - follow lane uphill for 1/3 mile and the pub will be in front of you at the next crossroads.
From Exeter - take the Dingles Steam Village/Roadford Lake exit off the A30, turn left at the end of the slip road and follow signs for Lifton then take small turning on your left signposted 'Portgate' - follow lane uphill for 1/3 mile and the pub will be in front of you at the next crossroads.
From Tavistock/Plymouth, follow signs for Chillaton then signs for Lewdown. When you get to Lewdown turn left, drive for two miles till you reach Portgate and the pub is on your left.
