Having dropped out of 'corporate life', we bought the Harris Arms in December 2003 with the goal of serving fantastic food, with great wines at fair prices along with lovely local beers. Andy has been traveling since his 18th birthday and has landed in many ports (including Portgate!) throughout his life. Now in his 60's, he still refuses to grow up and continues to think that the world is full of possibilities.
Talking of which the view is to 'die for' - Brentor looms in the distance with its church perched, precariously on the tip of the extinct volcano and the rolling Devon hills stretching out in every direction... So be prepared for the unexpected at the Harris Arms - it may be a pub but really it's much, much more...
